Pokemon X and Y

So Pokemon finally decided to go 3D with the new versions.

First one I'll be picking up in a while lol...

i'm thinking it's got something to do with genetics. what with the whole x and y thing, and the japanese logos appear to have a chunk of rainbow dna just chillin

i'm totes getting this one, especially since there are two starters that i really like this time around, the fire and the water ones, though i'm really hoping it's not gonna be like gold and silver where i only really like the first forms of them.

AND YOU GUYS. THE LEGENDARY FOR Y. IS A BIRD. SOLD.

I'm thinking that grid dimensions might be it, because we already had a genetics legendary. (Mew) Plus, that means the third game can be Z.

Also character customization, running shoes are roller skates, and fraaaance and maybe other countries, yay.

That's what I thought too. I was thinking that it was talking about X and Y axis, but the DNA strands in the title lead it to be more about genetics. The trailer did show Pikachu in France, so I assume that the region this time will be based around it. I am glad to see another legendary bird finally. I don't have a 3DS though, so I won't be getting it. It looks cool though.

In addition, I'd say this makes a remake of Gen 3 more likely now that they've moved on to the 3DS. Remaking a GBA game on the regualr DS would be too similar, but now I feel like they could do an actual enhanced remake of Gen 3 on the 3DS. There's even a pun all ready for them. Gen 3DS anyone?

EDIT: Also, if this game logically concludes into a third game (X->Y->Z) Please let it be about Zombie Pokemon. (Or Super Sayian Pokemon. Take your pick, Nintendo) I would so buy that.

Not for a long time. Gen 1 and 2 both had bird legendarys, but since then there hasn't really been any.

And yes, there are a lot more colors, but like I said, it seems like they're going with a genetics theme, so X and Y makes sense for that.

Let's not forget about the possibility of having an eight Eeveelution as seen on this picture.



As could have guessed each sign composing the title referes all of Eevee's form, but that last one could be the sign of a new evolution perharps it could be a ghost-type just by looking at the color.

Oh and Fira I'm gonna plan to get the Y version too for Yveltal, that's its name.

I'd guess that that last one is actually espeon though, and the bow is just a middle decoration...

I'd like to get it, since I've been wanting to start a new Pokemon adventure but I haven't had the heart to restart any of my games. However, I can only get it if

A. It's a gift or
B. My dad has a job by the time it gets out -.-

That doesn't even look like official art. And all it says is "Eevelutions" Just because they didn't have enough Eevees to spell the word doesn't mean they're making more.
The bow itself is probably a decoration and the "-" isn't even a character.
That aside, I'm glad they're finally moving on to the next DS. The current one was starting to get pretty old, and now hopefully they can do more with the new hardware.

why would you be glad about it? it means no new pokemon for you, met.

It's good for Pokemon as a series to move to the new handheld. The 3DS needs some more good games on it.
And even if it was on the DS I probably wouldn't get it anyway

I wish they would actually make a console game where you can walk around an do all the same things as the handheld games...now that would be legit

you can't do EVERYTHING that you can do in the handheld games, but these are some pretty great console pokemon games. you can battle and explore and have a plotline and stuff.

If I recall correctly, neither of those games were made by Gamefreak... HMMMMM

But anyway, I have always had the idea that a great handheld/console game would be a game where you actually get to fight real-time as the pokemon. It would work great for a system like the 3ds. The joystick moves you around the 3 dimensional plane and the buttons are you four attacks!

Although its also supposed to be a legendary, so I have no idea how that's supposed to work.

When did they say it was legendary?
